Walvis Bay Cement Processing

The plant will handle bulk and bagged cement imported by sea. During the initial phase, 27,000 tonnes of covered flat storage, 2,400 tonnes of silo storage and 21,000 tonnes of palletized bag storage are foreseen, as well as the associated material handling and bagging facilities.

GEA’s responsibilities included detailed design of the plant process structures, comprising the silos and bulk loading facility, the bagging plant, the pipe bridges and flat storage building.
