Ft. McPherson Thermal Power

This new diesel-fueled stand-alone power station in Canada’s arctic is designed for an eventual capacity of about 4 MW. The building consists of a two-level steel superstructure on a concrete substructure on small-diameter steel piles.

GEA’s responsibilities included post-fire structural condition assessment and civil/structural design of the replacement power plant.
