This rectangular concrete tank (19 x 8 x 5 m) has a capacity of 620 m3 and provides municipal water to a new development. It is sited within sloping ground with the roof at grade level on the uphill end and is of cast-in-place concrete Strict watertightness requirements apply and the facility is located in a zone of high seismic risk.

GEA’s responsibilities included detailed structural design of the reservoir, field review services during construction. Services provided as subconsultant to Kerr Wood Leidal Associates.
