Abidjan Cement

The project comprised adding a refurbished 50 tonne/hour ball mill and a new 100 tonne/hour rotary packer bagging plant to the existing facility in the Port of Abidjan. A new intermediate station; housing feed hoppers; material bins for clinker, slag, gypsum and sand; weigh scales and de-dusting systems are also included. An exsisting bagging station was upgraded in 2002.

GEA’s responsibilities included detailed design of piled foundations, concrete substructures and the bagging plant steel superstructure. Services performed in association with Ruedi Bolliger Consulting Engineer.
