This new facility is designed to handle a peak flow of 1520 L/s during a 100-year storm event. It comprises a 10 m deep substructure, housing the wet and dry wells, surmounted by a 6 m high single story superstructure consisting of concrete shear walls and framing with masonry and glass infill panels.
GEA’s responsibilities included detailed structural design and construction field reviews of the plant. Services provided as subconsultant to Kerr Wood Leidal Associates.
